This year, the IDEACONSULT & LODEC consortium carried out a two-month pilot feasibility study on the strategy, operationalization and impact of Protected Agricultural Zones (ZAPs). The provisional report of this study was validated on November 29th in Brazzaville during a restitution workshop.
Between October and November, the IDEACONSULT & LODEC consortium traveled to all the departments of Congo where ZAPs are or are not yet established. Indeed, the study made a general diagnosis of their situation and the problems of their implementation. Similarly, it examined the need for the product for food security.
