Development of the national road safety policy and strategy as part of institutional support to the National Road Safety Agency (ANASER)

Yesterday, in Dakar, the workshop to present the diagnostic report as part of the development of the national road safety policy and strategy, in support of the National Road Safety Agency (ANASER Senegal) was held.
The main objective of the assignment is to have a planning document and its action plan that underpins the strategy. This strategy will be aligned with the pillars of the 2021-2030 decade of action and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) 2030 horizon, as well as the African Charter on Road Safety (AU), and community guidelines and recommendations (ECOWAS and WAEMU).
ANASER is responsible for coordinating these efforts and implementing the national road safety policy.

Phase 1: Status report – Diagnosis of road safety in Senegal.
Phase 2: Development of the National Road Safety Policy.
Phase 3: Development of the National Road Safety Strategy.
