PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The ACCES project comprises three activities:
I- Supply component, relating to the extension of the national power grid through the construction of 660 km of MV distribution lines and 420 km of LV lines for the electrification of around 325 localities in the Fatick, Kaolack, Tambacounda, Kolda and Sédhiou regions.
II- Consumer demand support component, with the aim of sustaining and increasing demand for electricity through demand-side interventions.
III- Distribution network improvement component, aimed at reducing technical losses as well as the frequency and duration of power cuts on the MV network

Elaboration of Initial Environmental Analyses by Region and the overall Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of the project

Work control, including supervision of the implementation of Environmental, Social, Health and Safety provisions

Assistance of MCA-Senegal II for the implementation of the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP)
