PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The African Development Bank (AfDB) has launched its first Urban and Municipal Development Fund (UMDF), designed to support municipalities. The UMDF will help African cities and municipalities improve their resilience and better manage urban growth and development through planning, governance and quality of public services.
Five pilot cities have benefited from this project, including Bizerte. The results of this work aim to provide a platform for resource mobilization and support the implementation of AfDB investments in cities.
