Economic and financial analysis of the impact and benefits of Baynes hydroelectric power plant on Angola and Namibia

The main objective of the assignment is to present, to the Governments of Angola and Namibia, an assessment of the commercial Entity options for Baynes Hydroelectric Power Plant construction project and to recommend the best and bankable Entity that takes into account market conditions, stakeholder priorities and most recent technical parameters.

• Analysis of the legislative framework and fiscal and monetary policies of Angola and Namibia
• Analysis of electricity-related legislative frameworks and other energy policy instruments in Angola and Namibia
• Assessment of the project’s macroeconomic impact
• Assessment of the project’s microeconomic impact
• Financial and economic assessment of the three proposed implementation models and recommendation of the most viable and sustainable one.
