PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project concerns component 3 “Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) around the mass transit system” of Douala’s SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan), which is planned to be conducted in interaction with the other components on the basis of sharing relevant data and inputs. Successfully developed in several countries, the TOD Concept advocates urban planning in the vicinity of public transport infrastructures, characterized by functional mix, high density and high quality design of public spaces.
