PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The construction of a dry port in Dolisie is a relevant solution to the congestion of the Pointe Noire Autonomous Port (PAPN). Designed as a specialized site, close to customers, multimodal in its facilities for receiving and distributing goods, several benefits are expected from the development, including reduced transport and transit costs, shorter delivery times and customs procedures, as well as greater security for goods. From the PAPN’s perspective, the creation of a dry port in Dolisie has at least three direct positive impacts on activity at Pointe Noire: (i) decongestion of the port platform, (ii) improved service quality and (iii) strengthening the infrastructure’s positioning on a sub-regional level.
