PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The institutional modernization of public irrigated schemes accompanies the overall PIAIT development Project through rehabilitating 7 Public Irrigated schemes (PPI) in northern Tunisia, covering 22,000 ha. The institutional reform consists of szetting up a public company to operate an area of ​​35,000 ha, composed of 11 PPI managed by 32 GDA and 4 CRDA, integrating rehabilitated and other non-rehabilitated areas
