Preliminary studies for the implementation of the institutional reform of the urban hydraulic sub-sector in Benin

Through the institutional reform of the National Water Company of Benin “SONEB”, the Government of Benin intends to rationalize public operation, improve sub-sector’s operational performance and speed up domestic access to portable water performance to attain a coverage rate of 100% by 2021.
The assignment aims to elaborate the various documents and provide the maximum amount of information necessary for the selection, under transparent and fair conditions, of the reference private operator and to facilitate the negotiations of public service management contracts.
