PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Following the Government’s decision on July 23rd, 2016, the Tanzanian government is to be fully relocated to Dodoma, the country’s capital, by 2020. Among the key projects selected and which accompany this relocation, the government plans the construction of a new international airport in Msalato, a site located around 12 km north of Dodoma. The area reserved for the development of the new airport covers approximately 4,050 ha.
