Strategic study of the wood and furniture sector

The study aims to diagnose the wood and furniture sector, identify its dysfunctions and guide the modes of action with a view to boost its three main branches of activity, primary processing, building joinery and furniture.

It should result in the identification of a development strategy for the sector and an action plan with a view to economic and social efficiency and competitiveness, in particular related to the acceleration of the process of opening up the Tunisian economy (GATT, WTO, FTA, etc.).

• Phase 1 : Diagnostic analysis of the sector on a national scale
• Phase 2 : Positioning of the Wood and Furniture sector on an international scale
• Phase 3 : Choice of a strategic option and action plan
