PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main objective of the assignment is to support the Government and NIGELEC in the development and formulation of a Performance Contract for a three year period. The Performance Contract was to define the rights and obligations of both parties, possible arbitrations, as well as the modalities for annual review and gap analysis. Moreover,It was designed to fulfill NIGELEC’s management planned changes, increase its managers accountancy and enable the development of a results-oriented culture.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • Clarification of the Parties’ strategic areas of intervention
  • Drafting of the Government/NIGELEC performance contract project
  • Definition and proposal of appropriate indicators for each commitment under the Performance Contract
  • Development of a Monitoring & Evaluation system
  • Determination of the requirements for the Performance Contract external auditing
